I wanted to drop a quick note here to thank Disco Mike for helping me solidify a diagnosis of a problem with my 2000 Disco II's inability to shift between low and high on the center diff.

I have experienced this problem for quite a while, with the ability to shift being less likely than likely. While I had the transmission out I decided to try to resolve this issue.

I want to especially thank Disco Mike for chatting with me on the phone the other day regarding my 2000 Disco II's lack of shifting from Low to High...

As suspected when I called him, the solenoid is either bad, or it's not getting the appropriate voltage for some other reason... Removing the solenoid resolved all my issues of shifting from low to high range.
