Default Changed Plugs, 02s, and CPS rough idle WRONG PLUGS?

Not sure what is going on. The car getting missfire codes and 02 sensor codes. I replaced plugs and sensors and it ran great for a couple weeks no codes at all.

It shut down on highway with no warning, read up on this and people say common symptom of crank position sensor. So i replaced that.

Now rough terrible idle, runs great when driving its just at idle. Got a misfire on cyl 1, pulled plug and it seemed ok. checked all wired etc, ad plugs and vacuum lines, all seems well.

My advice is to see if there are any stored faults. I've learned recently after getting an autocom that there are events with codes that are stored, but will not set off the Service Engine light, or be read by a scangauge.

I know i have a cracked cyl wall that is creating sleeve to slip (been doing that for 7 years now). Maybe the HG finally gave way, it is leaking externally on side of head for a little while. at cyl 1

Anything to do with the new Crank sensor you think? But I would think that would cause more running issues not just idle.

Are you getting in coolant in the cylinder1? It could cause a serious misfires and wont go away until its corrected properly. You could run great for a while after the SES light stop blinking, if it was. If you have a scope, just remove the plug and check. Usually the plug will look alright but whitish all around. CkPS at times make it hard to start or stall while driving but restores back to drive condition ones the engine cools down and will occur again until the Ckps is replaced.
There are some solutions if you get coolant in the cylinder but a bit extreme.

Usually blinking light misfire at first start up goes away within a minute. Since I did all the plugs and 02 sensors no flashing upon start up. I changed the cps since I did stall on highway couple weeks back and to be safe just changed it.
Now starts up fine no blinking cel just misses at idle.

When I had coolant leaking through the block into number 6 the plug looked visibly wet. I waited for it to cool some before loooking. A cheap USB boroscope will tell all though. The coolant actually was entering the cylinder through the top between the head and the block. Which is what a flanged liner would fix. IDK if there is a head gasket with a better seal there... and odd that it went up rather than down. But thats my story... I did get misfires upon start up due to the seeping coolant on shutdown not burning off until the next start.

I have a scope camera. I'll give a look inside the chamber see if I can see what's going on. Other than headgaskets and chance of it occurring again due to coolant escaping through block up the sleeve id say I'm SOL.

Yes! Better get a $30 bore scope at Harbor Freight. Whats happening now, your new plugs are holding up fine for the mean time and getting good combustion, but if theres some leak getting in there somehow weather from gasket of cylinders, that had to be known. Like exactly what Dave mentioned, coolant will eventually burn off but in time, youll have much pressure going on and eventually will overheat your system. Blow old hoses etc. If you can check with the scope, then it will be easier to determine whats next. Coil packs maybe?
