anyone know the spark plug gap on a 2001 land rover discovery????

 

Spend the extra money now and get the Magnacores. You will not need to replace them again. Rovers eat cheap wires and you will be replacing them again soon and then spending the money on Magnacores. Plus, it's not one of those jobs you want to do repeatedly if you do not have to. I did not need to remove anything, but the bent screwdriver was very useful. Do a search on plug wires here and you will see numerous posts where people replaced multiple Accel, Rover, Store brand wires after a very short time.

Thanks everyone for their replies....will be doing my plugs and wires tommorrow...but does anyone know what the correct spark plug gap measurement for a 2001 disco....

 

theres NO GAP, dont get single prong plugs, get BOSCH +4 Platinums

 

X2 on the +4's. They are great and the Disco's really like them. Not the regular platinums, or +2's, the +4's. They are worth the price. When combined with new Magnacors, I noticed a little more bottom end torque.

 

help...after changing my plugs and wires my vehicle is still running ruff..I have no spark at the #5 cylinder...Could this be the coil pack????? Please help

 

Is there any benefit for going with an 8.5 mm over the 8mm wire, or the 8mm should do the job just fine?

 

8mm is fine, they fit in the wire guides (although tight) but I think 8.5mm will not fit in those guides.
