New to the Disco community (October bought a 2002 Disco 2) but curious if anyone on here lives in the Charlotte area? Would love to meet other enthusiast! Semms like the local community group web pages are no more.

 

Hi, and welcome to the forum. There are a handful of us here in Charlotte who are active on the forum. I'm not sure we qualify as enthusiasts, but we have a good deal of experience with our DIIs that may be helpful to you. And fortunately for you, one of us has a Nanocom for all kinds of diagnostics and settings, and I have a Hawkeye that does most of what the Nanocom does (except programming the BCU to recognize keyless entry handsets). Where in the Charlotte area are you? I'm in South Charlotte, off Providence Rd. Please PM if you like.

I'm also in Charlotte off of Providence road. There is a guy in my neighborhood that runs Import Clinic. They seem to work on a lot of LR's new and old. It's located not too far from the Bojangles Coliseum if that helps.

FYI, the sign up information for Uwharrie Safari is up. May 12-15. 2022

Just goole Uwharrie Safari and the sign up is on evenbrite.

If you have never gone, basically camping and trail riding for a few days at the Uwharrie National Forest.

All types of Land Roves and different level of trails. Even if you make a day trip out of it, still a good time.

 

What does this get you that buying a trail pass and camping for free doesn't?
