Found this on craigslist. The guy selling this had the right idea with his accessories but he should have got an 04 instead. Guessing the oil pump failed and destroyed the engine. This would be great for anyone looking for a good project or just buy it for the accessories. If I had a D2 I'd buy it for parts.

I went and looked at this truck it looks like it has never been washed, underside is very dirty exhaust it pretty rusty, steering box leaking, RF fender need to be replaced as its not only dented but torn, interior has seat covers so it was hard to tell the condition.
New heated windshield with a good size chip near the mirror mount. headlight covers are turning foggy probably due to never being washed, they might need to be replaced.
Big stickers on the rear windows and,
On a section of the DS rear door the paint has been chipped away probably from something hanging out and then hitting the door while driving.
It did have an ARB front bumper with a Warn winch cable was pretty beat up on the top layers of cable.
PO said he drove the truck about 2 to 3 miles with oil light on to get off the freeway, and subsequent diagnosis is the engine has just about seized.
No CDL with the new rebuilt transfer/center diff.
RF tire has a slow leak and the tires looked good, and they had studs.
I was looking for another fender and its about 350 for one plus the plastic guard is also needed.
There was another 03 in the junkyard ( here in Denver)and seller wants about 3k for it , it was hit hard on the DS front and drove the DS doors back its an S so no sunroofs, also the whole front grill/headlights are crunched and the front support is into the waterpump that truck has 83K and you can not hear it run no battery.

the PO said the truck was his work truck, i didnt ask what he did but washing the truck didnt seem to be one of the things that happened unless it was raining

I would think it would have been cheaper to put a used engine in it rather than pay it off.
