Default Cheap Roof Racks

I'm looking to get a roof rack to help with my move to a new home. I'm not looking for anything to expensive to just a something simple that will allow me to carry a bed on my roof?

What do you all recommend?

there is no cheap way out. everything will cost you around $900 - $1200. Why dont you just tie it to the factory rails? or use a heavy sheet of plywood tied to the rails as a platform to make your own ghetto wood rack.

cheapest option would be to rent a small U-haul trailer if you have a hitch

I got the Surco 50X50 Safari rack. Installed for just under $400. Its sturdy enough to get the job done, but not as nice as a $1000+ rack from bigger name brands. Here's some pics:

Eventually I will add a floor to the rack to make it easier to store things. You can buy chicken coop flooring for cheap at a farming supply store.

Cam-can that roof rack be extended to the full length of the truck?
