Default Checking out D2 Saturday, what to look for

I know my D1 inside and out, Im 90% I can get this thing for 1000$ and if not it wont be much more it is an 03.

I know all the basics but is there anything D2 specific I should look for? Im kinda new when it comes to these ..

Oil Pump Fail VIN range - Is it inside the "death range"?

Front Prop-Shaft - Is it rebuilt?

Maintenance Records - duh

....and don't get distracted by how awesome the headlight design is

just look for the obvious.

i am going on 3 years with my 04 and still no major issues

If you're getting it for $1000 I assume it needs an engine (or at least head gaskets)?

No it runs great. 90k only issue is body work. Nothing major

Hey now.... the headlights and the 4.6L were the main reason I wanted an 03 or 04.

At that price it should leak oil and coolant, gallons of it
Heck at that price buy it and fix it up.
