Default chickening out of 2003-2004 headlamp conversion

Guys, I know that we have a section for that, but I decided to post this here anyway.

A friend of mine that had mebid and win 2003-2004headlamps on Ebay and ended up chickening out, sold them to me and I got this one step further. I bought brand new from the dealer headlamp finishers and inner gasket that came primed grey and ready to paint.

Even thought I feel pretty confident about doing it, I decided that I just didn't feel like it. So I guess I'm chickening out too.

If anyone is interested in getting both headlamps with the finishers and inner gasket, let me know. I'm asking $550 or best offer for the whole kit.

I'm posting this here first, cause I'd like one of us to do it.

Let me know,

Darover

Whoa. Its a good thing you replied, I re-read my post and noticed that I had posted the price in Canadian money!!! U.S would be $475.00 plus shipping.

Not that I'm being a wuss, well...maybe a little. But the major thing is that my Disco is absolutely flawless and I' like to leave it this way. I don't mind the fitting part, its the wiring part that I'm not too crazy about.

volunteer an electrical savvy friend to help you with that bit... it is a pretty involved process from what i have seen and read, but the results are well worth it in my opinion... if i could afford it i would ****** those things up and put them on my D1....

Well, of course first come first served, but if you commit to buy, I'll see. I'm in no hurry, but you know, I wouldn't want to hold onto them and then be stuck with them.

DiscoXD, my brother who is now an electrician, use to be an auto electrical technician. But I don't want to play with something that works just fine.

Yep, conversion works for any D2 from 1999 1/2 to 2002. Be aware that there is some moding to do for the light to fit right, and your wiring has to be modified also. Quite a few write-ups about it, lots of people have done it, but its not a simple bolt-on and plug-inthing.

Jbegin, lets let the holiday period go by, and if the lights are still available, we'll talk.
