Could be the brakes, or u-joints, or suspension, or a belt, or a ...
What speed does it happen at? Over bumps? When engine cold? What?

all the time I think, I mostly notice it when I go by houses or tight roads. It also happens in reverse (can hear it in my garage). When I hit the gas pedal, the chirps seem to go faster. I don't think it is the suspension because its not a squeak. Don't hear anything when idling either. Could it be the tranny?

Will it chirp when in neutral?
Have you inspected and or rebuilt the front drive shaft to get rid of the 2 non servicable u-joints?

A few months back my rig had a similar chirping sound. This may sound strange, funny or not even related to your sound but the noise turned out to be a loose bolt in the passengers side wheel well rubbing against the metal.

If you still have the original ujoints you better get it serviced this second. It'll sieze and grenade your tranny.
