Finally happened to my daughter again, but this time, I got to the truck before it magically started.

Well, somehow she keeps tripping the anti theft system. Couple of presses on the key fob and daddy magically fixed her car.

Questions:
The other instances when the truck magically started, is it possible that after a time interval the anti theft system reset itself?

What could she be doing to trip it?

Could something be wrong with the system? (I guess that is a obvious yes)

Bad drivers' door lock actuator is my guess.

hmm, that's a idea. It is the only actuator I have not replaced.

Could you give me a explanation as to how this could cause this problem.

The anti theft is armed when you lock the door with the key. If the switch inside the door has issues perhaps it's arming the system when she closes the door.
