Climate Control Temp Calibration
I find myself keeping the climate control on my '04 at 64°F to be comfortable. In all my other vehicles, I find that 72°F works best. The system seems to work properly, adjusting temp and fan speed as necessary, but just seems to be off from a temperature perspective. Is there a way to calibrate these units, should I replace a sensor, or is this just normal for the rigs?
Thanks,
Chad

Hmm... there's surely variance between vehicles but 64 does seem low.
To answer your question, I don't think there is a way to program a calibration in to the climate unit. Not that I'm aware of. I bet the issue is instead with the incoming signals it is getting that is causing it to mis interpret what the actual temp in the car is. Which points to the interior temp sensor.
There's a little fan motor that pulls air across an interior temp sensor I bet it's blocked with dust and debris. Very common.
This post shows pics of it all crapped up with gunk and dust.

I'd start with this and then if it doesn't fix it, maybe something with the sun sensor on the dashboard, or your climate unit itself.
