Clock removal on Disco2
Truth be told, I have an entire gauge cluster you could get and just swap into place. Much easier just to do that.
Thanks for the tips, I got the clock out with two expired membership cards. They worked well because they were thinner than a CC and didn't have raised numbers.
FYI the bulb in the clock is the same one used in a 1993-1998 3 series BMW dash cluster. BMW PN 62 13 1 383 311 $3.06 list price, might be more from a dealer. You can also use a 1.5w bulb, this is what I did because we were out of the 1.2w, BMW PN 62 11 1 391 260, list price is the same as the 1.2w. I keep my dash lights turned down very low so using the brighter bulb is not an issue for me but if you keep them turned all the way up you may want to run the correct 1.2w bulb.
