Default Codes 1171 and 1174

I just got these 2 codes in the last 4 days 1171 and 1174, I cleared them tonight and will see if they come back but from what I am reading they point to the O2 sensors. I just replaced the O2 sensors roughly 3000 miles ago. I just had my massive oil leak fixed and right after my mechanic said one of the pully bearings is bad.

I guess the good point is that it is no longer leaking oil

Also I recently got Bilstien's put on (got them for less than OME!!!) and she is riding a bit rough it seems.......

Any ideas

See if those codes come back, if they do double check your connections for the O2's.
If the connections are good then you probally just need a tune up.

It is probally riding rough because the shocks are new and still pretty stiff. They aill loosen up alittle with age.

Sorry (glad Mike didn't chime in yet ) she's a '03 disco II with 110,000 got the O2's from British Atlantic. Replaced the rear intake gasket and the valve cover gaskets and one other I can't remember right now and the manifold gaskets (had and exhaust leak as well) had a tune up about 20-30,000 miles ago and replaced the plugs less than 6000 ago.

And if anyone wants a lead on a great deal for the shocks (no connection to company) let me know

The shocks are standard Bilsteins, at least according to them website.

Mike is chiming in now.
Those codes can be from either a vacuum leak or a MAF, I doubt your 02's have caused this or you would hav fault codes showing a problem with them. By the way, the Bilstein's won't cause this either.

I replaced my front 02 sensors (the rear are OEM) and am now getting 1171 and 1174. The idle is slightly rough and 1171 comes up every other trip. I ordered new rear sensors. Is it reasonable to believe not replacing the rear sensors along with the front would cause this?

Cheers,

Pete
