Coil Pack Relocation Upon Purchase
Test drove a 2000 Discovery 2 days ago with 113K miles. All electronics work and runs quiet but stalling due to misfire. Spoke with the owner if I can use my borescope to check cylinders if coolant present. He agreed. Upon plug removal, some wire connectors was left on the plugs and broken.

After knowing that the cylinders were clean of coolant, I purchased the truck for cheap. Ask the owner if I can tune up the disco on his driveway and he agreed. Run to Auto Zone and purchased new set of plugs and installed the coil pack relocation kit. It took me less than 30 mins this time since it has no SAI. Drove the car home and so far no misfires and amazed that the truck is strong and quiet with no ticking. Happy Ending. lol https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/landrov...c968bfaa1a.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/landrov...9ae307bc3b.jpg Got this baby home and will start cleaning it. Cheers! |

$200 for some metal plates seems steep but i suppose a lot of time and effort went into making the kit.

As far as I know, you still have to extend the coil wires yourself. |
Doesn't come with plug wires -- just has an extension for the coil itself.

That includes longer plug wires too.

Gerry (nice score on the truck by the way) did a hell of a job on this! It all started here (and see his signature)... > https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...project-82610/ |
