I think it's a great project and probably a quality product, but $208 is a bit steep. Maybe you can 3d print the bracket or something to lower the cost and still make your margin? I would be more likely to buy it if it was closer to the $100 mark.

I like that idea. Why dont you try to make one closer to $100 and keep the specs I did so you dont have to buy. Seems that you are very handy. But you have to make sure you fit a 14 gauge wire on a 16 gauge hole opening (X12) for each Kit, then make it water proof and insulate it. Get parts in europe and send it to california for assembly and at the same time, machine shop in NJ doing the brackets as I ran constantly to Fastenal to get nuts and bolts. The most painful one is getting the kit to the post office for shipping to people and the constant order of supplies. I even included the clips. LOL!

I own a machine shop with fabricating ability which includes milling, turning, water jet, anodizing, powder coating and various other processes: I am anxious to see this part 3D printed.

We manufacture many of our own products that are marketed worldwide under various trade names and are always looking to help other small businesses with their ideas and products.
