Hi, does anyone know the size and thread type of this mounting nut (please see circled)? Thanks in advance.

What does that bolt into on the engine - I can find out pretty quick

IIRC on mine, it's just a blank threaded hole that get used. I don't remember the thread pitch though but if you look right by the fill, you'll see it.

@acg looks like it went into the alternator bracket I have a bolt will get the size for you and let you know shortly

I'd recommend getting this if you're going to work on Discos. With the mix of SAE and metric, having this makes real quick work identifying thread pitch/size to find replacements: https://amzn.to/3jLRV4Z

Yes indeed! I shuld have gotten one a long time ago. Just placed an order.
