Cold Weather Blinkers
Hi Folks,
Posted in tech help as well.
I have a 2003 Discovery SE7. Any thoughts on blinkers in cold weather? In below freezing temperatures only, the blinkers will not work. After she warms up- no problems at all. any ideas? Thanks for your help once again in advance!

I posted on this last winter b/c my wipers were acting the same way. Consensus at the time was that the problem is either contacts in the stalk, or the relay is sticking. Takes about 5 minutes of running the truck before the issue mysteriously clears up, right?

You need a new multi function switch. For some reason this is a common problem on DII's. A new multi function switch will make it go away.

You actually need them both because the wipers and the turn signals are on seperate switches.

Ok, so we have been starting to see alot of this since it is starting to get cold.
This problem seems to be only with DII's.
Why? DI's and DII's take the same switch! DI's dont seem to have this problem, why is that? Not that I am complaining or anything.

Well, I didnt want to say it. lol
Urban Panzer found me a really nice '04 TD5 with a 5 speed in France. I am trying to figure out how to import it.
I am thinking in two pieces, the chassis and then the body.
