Default Cold weather no instruments until warm

2000 D2. Was having window problems now I have Window(s) problem. Replaced motor in driver door last year. Replaced switch driver side. Also during cold winter months. 15-35 F mornings, no dash instruments. Tach, Speed, fuel, temp gauges. After 5 min or more they start pulsing and blinking for few seconds and finally come back to normal. Have had parasitic drain for years. Purchased a BCU to replace old one. Its not programed to my vehicle so pulled it out.

1.Window issues? not just one. mainly drivers side, but finally got it up and left it.
2.No gauges/instruments on cold start ups? Comes on after vehicle has ran and warmed up.

Saying the vehicle runs normally would be an understatement, but I get to work and back and love driving it. Not being a mechanic I have done all the minor work on it thank to the help and services from you.

This happened on my last one (an ‘00) when it was stupid cold as well. I never got riled up about it.

It drives ok. "with a land rover I never say drives great" I drove this morning on the interstate 8 miles @ 27 deg F. The dash instruments never responded. Just was asking to make sure this is not a ticking timebomb for something much worse to come.
I absolutely love driving it even with the several issues. My 1964 series IIA was not fun for a daily commuter. So I picked up a disco II cheap. My wife is begging me to sale the Series IIA to make room in the yard
