Default Cold Windy Alarm??

Happy New Years everyone!

I have a 03 SE7. This happened one time last week and again last night. I live in Pennsylvania and has been windy and cold, around 10 degrees at night. The alarm has been set off both times! I have to unlock on my keys and set it again.

Has this happenend to anyone else? Is it the weather? or does something need to be fixed?

Thanks,
Karl

Have you had a window cracked open on those times when the alarm went off?
Also may want to make sure you hood switch is adjusted properly.

Mike,
The windows were all closed.
How do I adjust/check the hood switch?

Karl

If the alignment looks good on the hood, lock the truck and wiggle the hood and see if the alarm will trip.
By the way, when you lock your truck, do you super lock it or just use the regular lock?

Super lock activates dead bolts in all the doors and turns on the ultra sonic sensors in the interior.
