I sold my LR4 last year but the party I sold it to is looking at getting a new set of wheels. I was wondering if I can run the 18” Compomotive wheels on my new to me 03 Disco?

I loved those wheels and there is a set of 5.

 

You will need to change to the LR3/4 lug nuts and add hub centric rings to keep everything aligned. Other than that bolt right up. Love those wheels as well

 

Yes you are supposed to use Hub Centric rings when using LR3/LR4 wheels on a D2/P38, but all the sets I've tried = just rattle around and never even make contact with the rim to do any good other than rattle around..... I've tried several sets with the same results with OEM LR LR3/LR4 wheels and the Black Rhino wheels. In the end I just install one lug nut until the wheel centers itself on the lug centric lug nut, and then I add the others. I have a set of Black Rhino wheels on my 99 D2 off of an LR3 without any Hub Centric rings at all and zero issues. You just have to make sure the wheel centers itself and you should be fine.

 

I had some purple aluminium ones that worked the treat with those RRS wheels

 

Yeah the set I had was anodized purple and when I slapped on some stock LR3 wheels on my D2 they didn't snug up a thing. I think I actually bought em from Lucky8 also. I gave up and just left on my parts truck after that.
