Concerned new owner of a 2003 Discovery 2
Hi everyone,
New to the Forum ! Just purchased a mint condition 2003 Discovery 2 and now I learn that some of these had disasterous oil pump concerns.
How can I find whether or not my particular VIN is within the range of the troubled units ? Thanks

Good luck but do not be discuraged. '03's are great trucks and many people with the VIN in range of the bad ones do not have any problems. There are also kits out there to change the gears on the pumps.
You should be more worried about the driveshaft. Make sure it was rebuilt or you better do it as soon as you find some time.
