Never owned a Land Rover product before, don't know anything about them and not mechanically inclined. Just looking for a good vehicle for our 6+ month stay in Baja California Sur. We'll be about an hour north of Cabo in a town that has only 3 paved streets. We found a 2000 Series II with 78k miles for $6995 that seems to be in excellent shape.
