Considering my first Disco: need advice

Looking at the underside rust was of vital importance to me. This one is super clean. Luckily they don't salt in CO, (hence the high number of traffic deaths and accidents.) Plus all the recent suspension and brake work means someone else already took care of all the rusty bolts.
I think the only thing I need to do soon is the serp belt

Broken, if you're happy with it, that's all that matters. I know the guys on here are trying to help you out and save you some heartache in the aftermath. I'm glad you kept looking and found something more along the lines of what you were looking for, with all of the upgrades done.
As long as you take care of the engine, and keep on top of things, it will run a long time. There are several on here that have over 200k miles and still running strong. I'm at 199k on my '99 D2 and it runs like a champ. We're going to hang on to it forever, if we can. It will eventually become our 3rd vehicle (toy) to play with.
