Default Continued A/C problems

My A/C keep shorting out... It happened in may, came back on, went out, came back on, now as soon has we start getting into the 90's here in NC it goes out again. I brought it to the shop today and they cant find the problem. My last resort is Land Rover. I checked the fuses, ect... Wheree can I check to see if a wire or something is loose? Or just anything I can check before I bring it to LR? I need my A/C back!

I dont know Cam, you might need a new HVAC control panel. www.roverlandparts.com, you know that address so I have no idea why I put it in here.

Cam I am in the Black Mountain area and I would be happy to take a look and see if we can't sort out your a/c problem. I know how terrible it is to be without it.

Thanks guys, I have found that the shop i brought it to is a little bit touchy with land rovers, I think they might be afraid of them... I might bring it by one more place to have it looked at. Goose_cat have you ever had your rover serviced at Torque? (i'm in Asheville BTW, so pretty close)

I had the same problem w/ A/C! Got frustrated one hot day and took the fan out ( under glove box) to inspect. Everything looked fine, put all back. No problems since. Chalked it up to a loose wire and or dumb luck!

if its the fan thats not working, check the wiring... theres a clearish 3 pin connector towards the glove box from the blower that tends to burn up, pull it apart and make sure its clean, should be 2 big wires and a small one in the connector if i remember right

Goose, I wouldnt bring my rover to any shop but Torque. He is an ex-LR worker and his basic business model is to provide better service and be 100% honest (unlike LR at times). He does great work and knows rovers inside and out. (let me know if you want his number and address)
