Coolant on bleed screw

Coolant on bleed screw
For the last couple of days I have been checking under the hood and I have noticed a small amount of what I assume is coolant pooled up on top of the bleed screw. I havent noticed any large amount of coolant loss judging by the resovoir. Has anybody seen this before or know what I can do to stop it?

this happened to my 03 disco when I put a standard T/stat in earlier this year when I was in Florida and broke the plastic bleed screw in the T piece, was not a good time. The cheapest place to get one from is BMW, about $7 inc tax. The bleed screw from BMW is reading from the parts invoice part number: 17-11-1-712-788 Description: Vent Screw. Get two on the understanding if you have a spare you will never break the first one but if you only get one then you will break that one and have to go back to BMW.... The Rover Gods are watching so beware!!!!! They do not have to be tightened very tight and can be easily broke, hence having the spare

The coolant in the resovoir looks nice and fresh and the water pump was replaced recently. I would assume the coolant was changed out at that time but I suppose I could be wrong. If the coolant looks clear in the resovoir is it the same throughout the system or am I assuming too much?
