Default Coolant confusion, Is this right

OK, I want to get rid of the dex. No problem I am just going to use a flush in the truck for a day drain, then follow up with a couple water flushes and eventually it will be gone. Now confusing part, I have read that all of the "works with any color" coolants are basically DEX rebranded. So I picked up some coolant called FLO-PERM universal antifreeze and summer coolant, can anyone look here and let me know if this is plain old regular non engine screwing works well will not gum up antifreeze/coolant. I also bought a jug of the peak everyone is mentioning on here and it is a universal all color dex rebrand.

That Ethylene glycol that you have is green stuff.
Dex cool is organic acid.
Though some says mix with any, some studies say that contributes to corrosion
Long life green stuff has extra additives that some will worn against.
I get the cheap green stuff (not extended life) usually store label

Default good?

so the FLO-PERM will be what we are now being told we should run to get wawy from the dex, right? I will be filling and flushing in the am and it would suck if I replaced what I am trying to get rid of. Once I do have the green in there, it is called Ethylene glycol? and that is what I would ask for when needed correct?

I am lost, the PEAK says use in all vehicles no matter the color of fluid /antifreeze but it says it is ethylene glycol and diethylene glycol?

I know zero re: FLO-PERM. I run Prestone AF2000 (green) with no issues. Walmart or any auto parts place will have it for about $14 a gallon.

I've tried more expensive VW/PORSCHE coolant, but there was no gain.

Good luck.

That dieth is one of those extra components to alter the make up. From all the bs I have read these studies enough to know that I don't know with certainty that extra additives will cause al corrosion...just that it's possible.but mixing with dex can cause issue. I wouldn't worry too much about about the di. I would use all the same green stuff. This is exactly why I use the cheapest junk. It's readily available.

That peak with the dieth is also probably labeled extended life.
