Default Coolant everywhere

I was driving out to the mountains when my engine decided to drain all the coolant out all over the engine. I shut it down just as the needle moved up about a needle width. Coolant everywhere. Had it towed home after a 2 hour wait, when I started it to drive into the garage, she ran pretty badly.

Looks like it came somewhere from the right side. Exhaust doesn't smell but I'm going to check all the plugs anyways. Is there a usual suspect on the right side specifically?

Heater hoses are on the right side.

Heck most of the coolant hoses are on the right (passenger) side.

If it was the heater hoses, they should have got all over the exhaust manifold and downpipe.

There was a TON of white smoke from under the hood. Makes sense.

Thanks everybody, I'll have a look tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Yea hopefully it's just a busted hose or even a simple clamp came loose

It could be a broken nipple on a coolant jug, blown upper/lower radiator hose, The T hoses, or heater hoses.

When I sold a D2 I had the kid had a hose blow off like 3 months later. Called up asking me for assistance. I said open the hood and crawl under it. He said oh I called AAA. I wanted to say then wth did you call me?? Ended up being an OEM coolant hose clamp rusted in half and off it went.

Upper rad hose looked fine, so did the T hose. I haven't looked at the bottle yet but it's too late at night now

By the Radiator? If it's plastic and either white, cream, grey, or black in color (depending on the brand) = Thermostat.
