Default Coolant flush

Would you guys consider an oil change place like jiffy lube ok for a coolant flush?

No, because I'm not in the habit of letting people work in my trucks that on their last job they used the phrase " Would you like fries with that? ".

Take it to an Indy Repair shop or do the work yourself if you can. For me franchised shops are a total joke. Good Luck!

The problem for me is disposal of the old coolant. They seem to make it impossible in my area to even get rid of used motor oil. Coolant drop off is an hour away and they charge you per jug.

Can you pay the jiffy lube fry cook a few loonies to dispose of your old coolant for you?

That's such B$, and then the Government wonders why people just put this crap down the sewer. IDK about Canada, but in The States Auto Parts stores take coolant/oil. Make a few calls to the auto parts stores or a Car Dealer, and especially to Walmart if they have a Auto Service Center.

I wouldn't consider them OK for an oil change.

I don't know, it's not rocket science. I'd consider it if I could talk with them about the procedure they'd use and then supervise it being performed.
