Default Coolant leak/metal shavings

Hello all,
I was chasing a coolant leak this weekend and luckily found it. its coming from either the top of the water pump or underneath near the timing chain cover. Unfortunately during this inspection, I noticed there is a lot of greasy metal shavings or dust covering the top front half of my motor. I cant hear anything grinding and ive never seen this on any engine before. Anyone have an idea of where to start looking and what does this coolant leak sound like?
Thanks!

Dust from top of your engine could be the flexible intake hose from the fender is crumbling. I would confirm with a magnet if those were actual metal shavings.

Check your idler and belt tensioner pulleys.
