Default coolant movement in reservoir?

Is there supposed to be some movement in the coolant reservoir? I have some coolant movement, not really bubbling just like a surge of constant water. The truck doesnt overheat but does have a slight misfire that I will change the plugs on tomorrow. I will be headed to land rover tomorrow ro get the check engine light coded to see what is up.

Thanks guys, I just bought this and I dont want any major issues or I will be getting a lawyer involved for lemon law if this turns out to be a major issue.

Yes you get circulation in the reservoir, one source is from the throttle body heater.

Just went through a similar issue. My recommendations would be to test your coolant for combustion gases to make sure you don't have a slipped liner or cracked block. Do you have the waterfall sound in your glove box? That was the beginning of the end for me.

If you think that you got ripped off in the purchase, get on it now. Just take it back. In most states, the Lemon Law only applies to new vehicles, not used. It is only going to get worse and the further down the line that you go, the less chance you are going to have to get your money back. There are too many Discos out there for sale to be stuck with a bad one right out of the shoot. Good luck. Phil
