Coolant in oil again please help
Hi guys,
I purchased a 2001 Discovery with what looked to be a blown head gasket (water mixed in the oil). I just finished reassembling everything, fired it up and more water in the oil. Seems to be getting in there pretty quick. When I took the heads to the machine shop, they surfaced the heads only. I did not get them pressure tested for cracks because I have never heard of them cracking (and being cheap). Is there anything else I should check before I take the heads back off? Thanks.

I would take the oil pan down and pressure test the cooling system to see if its from the timing cover or coming down from the cylinders (due to heads, block, or sleeve). dropping the oil pan to verify the leak location would be a hell of a lot easier than tearing down the heads again on a whim.
