Default Coolant temp borderline warm, goes down as rpm's increase

Just swapped out some hoses and thermostat with an oem new t stat because my other d2 had the housing split open while driving and it scared me, plus I wanted to flush out the orange stuff

Flushed out, refilled with zerex g-05 at a 70/30 blend since I'm a fan of lower coolant concentrations for optimal heat transfer. Topped with purple ice, burped, filled from top, bled etc. Heat blows hit with no spots that would indicate air, no sounds, system seems well bled and I did the process several time

Prior to this, my running Temps were 188-195 on average, but occasionally would creep up to the low 200s in traffic with ac on etc

Now, truck will average in the 200-210 range. Odd thing is that when I Rev high, like driving on the beach in 1st gear, the Temps drop down to the 190s. If I am on hwy at 60, and shift down to 3rd, the Temps will go from 206-208, to 201-203. It seems like the engine speed makes more of an impact than the airflow and it isn't circulating well at lower rpm's? Do I look into water pump, radiator? Also worth noting that the lower radiator hose is at most Luke warm even with 210 degree ect

Im thinking that about right with oem thermostat. Reving during traffic lowers temp in my case and rest are same when youre driving.

i think i posted to another post. Cant verify on my phone. Lol

It is possible...but it is still possible to have some air still trapped.

Sounds right for an OEM factory stat.

You'll have to get the 180 stat to get temps lower than you now have.

These trucks were intentionally designed to run at your temps so it is not out of line.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm reasonably certain no air is in the system as I bled it several times with the nose jacked up about 2 feet and I've done it before a few times on these so I'm pretty familiar with the process. I'm wondering if the thermostat I removed was possibly one of the 180 degree variants that the previous owner installed and I just didn't know

That could be possible since you have an increase in temperature. You can tell the difference by the hole/s inside the thermostat which I cant not remember now. But the casing color could be grey, black or beige for both.
