I really screwed up… I was trying to get an M20 adapter in the plug hole on the oil pump cover when it just cracked open. Is there any way this can be welded back together? I was considering using Teflon but somehow it cracked open without even adding any tape or tightening it any more than it would easily turn in the threading. The adapter only just met the case as the pictures show, but it broke… I’m already in over my head but is there anything that can be done other than replacing the entire cover now?
I think it’s this port that’s just got a plug bolt in it - not the empty port to the right of it (unsure what that is)

Thanks everyone. rwk, if I buy that assembly, I don’t have to rebuild the oil pump myself since that’s got it built already? I just remove mine and put that one on?

ya I think this is a whole assembly it comes with the oil pump
Thanks, I'm not capable of welding though. I just solder a bit of guitars and computer hardware. Sometimes car stuff. In this case, I'd have to tow it to weld it and I'll probably just get the oil pump/cover full assembly, which should help anyway. I'll order that now.
