Default Crank case sensor / 02 Disco

If anyone is experiencing their engine dieing then cranking back up 10-15 minutes later its definately this sensor. I had a mechanic quote me all kind of bullsh*t telling me what my problem was. I took a gamble and bought the new sensor after reading a few others here on the forum. Did the swap myself and she running like new. Plus I went and got a scanner prior to starting the swap to see if my gamble was right and it showed a defective crank case sensor. It did show one more code a P0447 / Evap emission circuit open. What is this? I called the dealership and they mention something about the canister. They said check it for leaks along with the hoses and found none with soapy water. So I just erased that code for now to see if it re-appears. If it does I guess I will replace the canister, purge valve, etc...

There is a valve on the carbon canister that gets stuck open and will set off that type of code.
It can be hard to trace.

Spike555, you say there is a valve on the canister that sticks open. Would you happen to know what / where this particular valve is at?

And what do you mean it can be hard to trace. If its the purge valve would'nt it be a simple fix just to replace that valve or is it more complex than that. Thanks again for any information you can help me out with.
