Default Cruise controls...

Hi.
Do the paddle switches on the steering wheel act by pulling towards the driver, pushing or both directions ?

New owner, do not know many things, and the manual is not enlightening on it.

Press the button on the RIGHT side of the instrument cluster.
Pull the switch towards you. You use your index and middle finger to do so.
It takes on mine about 6 seconds to engage.

wow 6 seconds is way to long. Make sure the CC button is pressed on the cluster, bottom right button. You should then pull towards you the SET + button this engages the CC. You should feel a slight pull and then it set to that speed that you require. To disengage it either press the brake pedal or press the RES button.
If the system Cycles or 'hunts" the vehicle speeds up and slows down constantly then you might have a crack in or hole in one of the pastic lines.
