Default Cummins R2.8 with ZF 4HP24 Land Rover 4-Speed Adapter

Just came across this.... I know the Cummins crate engine has been around for a few years. The auto transmission adapter is now available. This has just become an interesting choice, albeit a $10K alternative at this time. They are also on backorder.

the trans hooked to the 2.8 will make or break the swap. Ridden in some awesome pulling trucks and some turds...maybe it's just me but for the life of me I can't imagine spending the time and money on any swap and retaining the HP22 or 24. Yes they are durable but they suck the life out of any motor they are behind. Even the ACE kit unless you just direct swap a junkyard motor in (no tear down or refresh on anything) is too much time to not go the extra mile and do a 6L80 or 90.
