Default Curly dash covering 94 disco

Is it common for the dash covering to curl up away from the front windshield? Mine is real curly.

Do you have to remove the dash to install this? I know maybe a newby question, but I am curious.

Good question. Mine is up as well. Is there an illustration or demonstration of this thing on the net somewhere?

No you do not have to remove the dash.

What it is , a lip that goes over the edge and you use screws to hold it in place.

Some of the screws are hard to get to .
I had to heat a wire and melt a smallhole on afew holes to get the self starting screws started.
When I was done I painted the top of the screws black to match.

I'm going to have my front windshield replaced (big crack), and I am guessing this would be the best time to do this, if the glass shop is willing to let me work on it for a 1/2 hour or so, while the old glass is out.

Thats what I did to get to the hard screws on the ones
that I did not want to melt starter holes, wires.
Great minds think alike and own Land Rovers!!!![sm=icon_cheers.gif]
