Default Current Master Cylinder Preferences

What is the going standard for master cylinders? White disco's is likely on it's way out and I have a feeling the green on isn't too far behind.

I got the RoversNorth Proline full kit. It was made in UK but it was not in a Britpart box so not sure who
manufactured it. Seemed to be good quality but I only had have it a few months.

Are there any known, less than desirable master cylinders? I recently heard about the URO lower coolant hoses having some kind of issue, although not real sure what, after having just installed them myself. Woops.

Unsure to any inferior parts, why I was checking with the brain trust. Though I wouldn't buy one from L8 as my life and families depend on it functioning..

LOL, that's kinda why I was asking...I just bought and installed a master cylinder from L8. Seems nice enough, made from brass instead of stamped steel like the original. Installed easy enough, I'm waiting to borrow a Nanocom so I can bleed the system properly, hoping there are no issues with it. Are there known issues with L8 stuff? Gosh I Hope not...

You can still purchase the OEM version though it is pricey.

I've not been pleased with them selling known terrible parts and will not buy anything from them anymore. People love them so maybe it's just me but I won't be spending any more money there. Also, you can use speaker wire and a toggle switch to activate abs, don't need a nanocom to power bleed.

Guess I'm still new in the LR world. Haven't been made aware yet of L8 selling "known terrible parts", that seems like good info to be aware of. Can I ask what stuff is in the "less than satisfactory" group?
I have found lots of things different in the LR world though, that would never pass the muster, as they say, anywhere else. I'm an old ASE cert tech, service writer, and auto shop manager doing over 1.5mil a year, and this LR world is a whole different critter. Shops, techs, info, parts, prices, availability, reliability...it's all different than literally any other manufacturer. No wonder we never saw any LR in all the shops I've worked at, these things are in a world all their own.
I have seen the trick to bleed the brake system with a wire and a switch, but I am also of the understanding that will only bleed one of the ABS circuits, not both. Mine is at about 160k, had a leaking master for who knows how long, had filthy dark fluid. I'm just trying to be thorough, get the whole system done right and eliminate any hickups, if at all possible. Fingers crossed, lmao

I just installed an Ebay MC from Toms Auto Parts ($76 bucks)... I've bleed the system 3 different times (self, with buddy, and jumped ABS pump). I get firm pedal for a day or so, but after driving for a week, the pedal gets squishy and dangerous, one pump will hit the floor. Well.....I waited a week too long, and fell out of the "return window" for the part. After contacting Toms Auto through Ebay, they said I could buy another MC from them, then return the faulty one for credit, but when I went to order another one today, Ebay says the seller is "on vacation"...dang it!
