I went with beck/arnley units from Rock auto. Will install them this weekend and hopefully they hold up for the long haul.

Motorhead, did you bench bleed the unit before install?

Yes I bench bled, Atalntic British has a video on this, and they say you cannot properly bench bleed a disco MC due to the rear brake reservoir casting design? So when I bleed a second time (after about a week of driving it), I had a friend stop by, and I started at the MC to make sure there wasn't any air there, never seen any come out. I drove for another week or so and noticed the pedal getting squishy until I felt it wasn't safe to drive, then on to the 3rd bleed using the ABS. I had new feeling brakes again, but that slowly went away over the next week. Im 99% sure the MC is allowing air into the system slowly...

I purchased another MC from the same Ebay seller, returned the original one I bought. I have bleed multiple times both manual and using the ABS pump, I can't seem to get full firm pedal. The brakes now with the current MC hold (Im not loosing brake pressure over time now), but I still don't have a firm immediate pedal like in my other Disco. Drives me nuts. While power bleeding the ABS pump, I get very low pressure out of the two rear most brake lines on top, the front two have a lot of pressure coming out, Im wondering if I have an issue with the pump. The brakes worked great before the MC change. ugh..lol

I've used several aftermarket MC's with zero issues. They've been either a goldish color or aluminum bodied unit. Cheapest before all the crazy price increases was 58.00 and the most expensive was around 150.00.

The one I got has an aluminum housing for 75 bucks. The first MC had a clicking sound/issue when you press the plunger in, so it was bad.
