Default Cylinder misfire

So i recently got the "Check Engine" light in my D1 (OBDII) and got codes P0300 (misfire) and P0125 (t-stat)

The t-stat i've had before, and i thought i had it replaced recently although i can't remember.

the misfire is a new one. i've got new plugs and wires since my last oil change... what could be causing this/is there a chance it was just a one-time hiccup?

Question

I would clear the code(s) and see what comes back, occasionally I get a p0300 but it usually coinsides with a quick off the gas & back on situation.
