Default Cylinder misfire

To say the least, I'm not the most knowledgeable greasemonkey around. I bought my disco last year and everything i've done it has been the first time i've done whatever that is, I had no experience coming into owning this thing as a mechanic, and I still have very little. Keep in mind that I'm clueless when you talk to me

Okay, so my service engine soon light came on yesterday, so today I bought an obd2 scanner from autozone and read codes. p1590, which is just reminding me I haven't fixed my amigos yet, p0300, and p0305.

Internet says 305 is cylinder 5 misfiring and 300 is random cylinder misfires. I cleared codes and then later tonight drove to a movie, on the way home SES light came on again. I checked codes when I got home, p0305.
I moved from tennessee to Las Vegas in July, about a 2000 mile drive. The week before I moved (since i was too busy packing to try and figure out how to install them myself and couldn't risk messing something up with my move date so soon) I had my dad's mechanic put in 8mm kingsborne wires and bosch plat+4s. I've had no issues in the 2800 miles since those plugs wires were put in until now, but I don't know if that means anything.

I'm googling cylinder misfire causes and getting a dizzying array of possible reasons, from injectors to coil packs to plugs to wires even to bad gas. I'm not really sure where to start, but I've got the time and I'd like to try to fix this myself. Where should I start, is this common? Also, does the p0300 just show up or does that mean that more than cylinder 5 misfired and I just didn't get a code for whichever other cylinder misfired?
