Has anyone tried a bumper or anythingfrom these folks www.dap-inc.com

 

I have not ever bought from them.
I find that Atlantic British cheaper than most other places after shipping is figured in.
The price for the part might be higher but shipping is cheaper and then overall the part is cheaper.
But if there is something specific that you want and they (DAP) are the only ones who have it then by all means order it, they are reputable.

 

Yeah, they're not too far from me. I've bought a head gasket kit and radiator hose set from them, maybe other things. I've talked to them on the phone and they're pretty nice folks, but most LR places are. They seem to be pretty competative on price, if not cheaper.

 

Part # FTC4939 (front flange output seal on transfer case) is $40 at the dealer, AB nor Roversnorth carry it and DAP had it for $9.99... IF AB doesnt have something, check with DAP.

 

The guys at DAP are pretty straight forward and their price in line, especially like the brake pads, EBC fo the high $65 range, can't be beat.

 

I am thinking about getting a winch bumper from them. So far theirs dont cost as much as others . The ARB and some others are more than I want to spend.

 

I've never bought a bumper from DAP, but I've bought a lot of other stuff. I've been dealing with them since '89. They were my primary supplier when I had Rover repair business.

 

I have ordered from them and everything was smooth. I just got the clear indicators, but they seems to be holding up well....

Now if I can just find a lowering kit and one of those neato big muffler things...

 

Your right to drive a Disco has been revoked. Take your Disco to the nearest dealer and leave it there. Make sure to bend over so they can kick you really hard in the *** before you go. LOL

 

HA HA! I really did buy the indicators, though. Mine were cracked, and at $100, they weren't too bad. I saw them on a black truck on roversnorth a couple years back. I liked the look and finally got them, camera is broke, but I'll try to post some pics....

I read where someone was really looking for a lowering kit for a Disco......jees, really?
