I just managed to snap off the passenger side (wing) external mirror on my D2 this afternoon.

Replacing it would cost $$$... but there are cheap D1 mirrors on eBay.

Has anyone tried fitting a D1 mirror onto a D2?

Are they interchangeable?

I am not sure but I know there are a number of Rover dismantelers that would sell you a used D2 mirror pretty cheaply.

I would really appreciate the leads. I'm in Australia, and so far, I haven't been able to find any Land Rover dismantlers yet.

Would there be a list of interchangeable parts hidden away somewhere on the Internet?
