Default Different tail lamp assemblies through D1 production?

My tail lights look like this:

I went to the junkyard to get a tail lamp for the back of my D1 as the yellow and clear had quite literally fallen out
The only D1 they had had a driver's tail lamp like mine pictured and the passenger side was the same except where the yellow is was red. There was no other yellow on that side.

Is that normal? Do I need to find my year D1 in order to get the proper tail?

The parts truck I bought (95 MY) has the all red tail lamp. My 98 has the amber and red tail light.

They changed in '96 I think, adding indicator lights to the light assembly.
Someone may have replaced one in the junk yard with an older style.
They will all work, even the older style, you just have to remove the knock out for the extra indicator bulb.

mine is a 94 no yellow in it. it was one of the models that only had turn signals in the bumper. It had bulb sockets in the tail light assembly for a turn signal, even were wired into the wire harness but somehow land rover didn't make them work.

BP of Utah has the the non-amber tail lights listed as 94-95, and the ones with amber as 96-99.
