Question D1 T-case for D2 question?

I don't have the RAVE on me as I am at work to inspect this further...

Can someone let me know if the top plate of a D1 Transfer Case will bolt up to a 99 D2 Transfer case? I have all the linkage and shifter from a D1 but instead of having to bend the linkage to reach my D2 transfer case plate i would rather just bolt up a D1 top plate ro my D2 case.

Thanks in advance.

I believe it will.
Unless my info is wrong the DI and DII take the same t-case.

i thought they did as well. but the top plate has to be different as the linkage assembly from a D1 will not reach the top plate of a D2 Tcase... so now i don't mind swapping out that top plate if it will bolt correctly.. will be easier than bending the arm on the linkage or manufacturing a piece to extend the linkage..

When you figure it out let us know, this might make the CDL install easier for others.
Take pics too.

Are you talking about the top housing plate?
If you are, the top of the hi/lo housing on the D1 is smaller than on the D2 so it wont bolt up. You'll have to do the 90*/90* bend.
