D1 wiper arms for D2 - do they really work?

We bought the same kit last year I believe. Changed out the blades though because they were crap. All was good after that.

I have the same kit, performance with the supplied blades was fair at best. Switched over to a pair of Honda oem blades from work (Honda dealer) and all is well. The aftermarket arms definitely aren't perfect, when I fold the blades into the upright position away from the windshield the end of the spring inside the arm gouges the plastic cap over the wiper arm nut horribly.

I paid $25 bucks for used arms off a d1 being parted out. I have an extra set. Keep your eyes open and you can find them, they are out there.😀

Honda blades are great. I would buy Genuine blades for every Honda or Acura vehicle I owned, no matter how ancient, even my old 1986 Accord. They were just that much better in my opinion. And I liked the way the rubber "refill" completely encloses the metal reinforcement strips. There is pretty much no way it can scratch the glass.
