I busted the negative terminal on the alternator side.
I took the plastic cover off the back and removed this piece.

I think its called a voltage regulator, anyone have an idea where to get one?

Hate to buy a whole alternator just for this simple part.

Got me going on the right track, and after a couple of phone calls, and Google searches for the correct part number.
