Default D2 buying advice

I'm looking to buy my second D2 and was hoping for some advice. I learned a lot after the purchase of my 2000 discovery mostly bc I have poured tons of money into it. Ive decided to buy a 2003-2004 and keep my 2000 as a parts car. Id love any advice on the right questions to ask and what to look for.

just keep in mind the '03 & '04 have larger 4.6L V8 engines and the '99 to '02 Disco's have the smaller 4.0L V8 engines.

I asked a similar question not to long ago and the big big thing is making sure that the car has a service history that are up to date. Im sure as you know from your first Disco, it can be a money pit. Find one that is mechanically sound and of course less owners / less miles the better.

Clean title is also important along with making sure there is no rust.

Have the coolant system pressure checked for sure. It’s super easy and quick to do.

Or better yet, pay to have it inspected by your fav shop before buying anything.

Does the 03 have a CDL transfer case and just no shift linkage?

I considered that part of the linkage.
You have to bolt on a cdl, not just hook up the cables.
