Hello and welcome to the forum. Please help us help you. What do you mean by "locking up"?

Hi by locking up I mean when driving and turning right on full lock it’s like putting the brakes on but I’m not touching the pedal

How big are your tires?
Do you have a lift?

What year is your car? Do you have a center lock?

It sounds like differential/transfer case bind with the transfer case locked

  • Jack the front end up, put some jack stands underneath
  • Unlock the steering wheel so you can turn the tires
  • Move the tire by hand a little bit then spin
  • Keep doing this until you feel resistance
  • Now get a big flashlight and inspect everything for binding left and right side
  • If you can not see anything obvious pull the tires look for rubbing or damage to the wheel wells and brakes or brake lines
  • Also do the hub wheel/bearing test - I do not have link handy but you can google it
I know this sounds trite but it is not rocket science, you can eliminate simple stuff like the transmission and transfer case because it is only when you turn right. It has to be tire/brake/steering related so that mean getting under there and seeing what is up
