Default D2 Rear Bumper

Someone recently backed into my bumper smashing the driver side tail light housing and cracking the bumper. I would rather find a slightly used bumper to replace it so that it looks less out of place than a shiny new black plastic bumper.

a.) does anyone know where I can find one of these (anyone in the Bay Area?)

b.) is the plastic bumper cover and the actual metal bumper that is below it one piece? In other words, can I replace the plastic cover with out replacing the whole bumper?

I had a similar issue when I was hit from behind. Was actually cheaper for me to install a steel rear bumper from AB, roughly $600 shipped and I installed myself.

When I got rear ended the other guys insurance paid me more than enough to get an aftermarket all steel off road bumper by High Country. They went out of business but there are plenty of other good ones, depending on what the guy's insurance pays you that might be a better option.

The black plastic bumper is actually a shell cover over the main impact structure underneath it. These plastic 'shells' are sold separately. It really depends how bad or hard the impact was and whether any damage or deformity of the impact structure.

There is always one of these you can replace it with:
